Free Advanced Chemistry Course
Those looking to study advanced chemistry can find a number of courses available through the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's OpenCourseWare. Courses cover such topics as crystal to diffraction patterns, chemical reactions, molecular orbital theory and free radicals.
Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)
MIT offers several free classes on advanced chemistry, most at the graduate level. Students in grad courses experiment with and theorize about chemical reaction kinetics. They also study topics, such as natural product biosynthetic pathways, crystal structure refinement and the bonding, synthesis and structure involved in main group element chemistry. Students taking undergraduate courses learn quantum chemistry fundamentals and chemical synthesis through advanced experimentation and study organic reaction mechanisms.
- Chemistry of Biomolecules I
- Advanced Chemical Experimentation and Instrumentation
- Kinetics of Chemical Reactions
- Advanced Organic Chemistry
- Principles of Inorganic Chemistry III
- Crystal Structure Refinement
