Free sports and physical education courses focus on athletic techniques, often with instructional videos included. These courses don't feature interaction with professors or other students, though, and all activities are optional.
Massachusetts Institute of Technology
MIT hosts a variety of courses online for free via its OpenCourseWare platform. Course topics include tennis and weight training. In some courses, students can watch video lectures and demonstrations.
Open University
Open University offers an aerobic fitness overview course that introduces students to aerobic exercise principles. They will have the opportunity to learn how to prescribe exercise for an individual according to four factors: type, time, intensity and frequency.
