About Altierus Career College

Altierus Career College is a non-profit, private career school with three campuses in the southern United States. The group of school offers 10 diploma and associate's degrees in the healthcare, trades, and technology fields at its locations in Houston, Texas; Norcross, Georgia; and Tampa, Florida. Their programs are offered in in-demand career fields and are designed to prepare students for their new career path in as little as eight months. These career-focused programs include hands-on training and have been designed to meet the standards of their respective national professional associations. Altierus Career College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC).

Altierus programs start every five weeks and are taught by experienced faculty members who have real-world industry experience in their field. Classes are kept small, so students can receive personalized attention from their instructor. Many of the programs include hands-on training through labs or simulated work environments as well as prepare students for relevant credential exams, if required by their state. Students can enroll in such programs as Computer Information Technology Diploma, Pharmacy Technician Diploma, Medical Assistant Diploma, Electrical Construction Technician Diploma, Associate of Science in Nursing, or Surgical Technologist Associate Degree.

  • Convenient Learning Options: Programs start every five weeks, allowing students to being their career path as soon as they are ready. Some of our programs combine online and in-person learning each week, giving you flexibility to be at home for some of your coursework.
  • Professional Development and Hands-on Training: Besides traditional classroom learning, students participate in labs and other hands-on training as well as receive professional skills development, such as mock interviews and resume development.
  • Support for Students: Altierus students are supported by a team of advisors, who help them from admissions to graduation.
  • Financial Support: Altierus helps students figure out how to pay for their education, with options like restructured tuition, institutional scholarships and grants, and financial aid guidance. Financial aid is also available for those who qualify.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

Applicants to Altierus Career College must have graduated from high school diploma or earned a GED. Some programs have additional requirements.
