Branford Hall Career Institute Programs

Computer Networking Management

The computer networking management program is only available on the Springfield, Massachusetts, campus. Students in this program train for a variety of careers, such as desktop support technician. Unique courses include ethical hacking and skills necessary for defending computer networks.

Culinary Arts Training

Students in the culinary arts program go to the Springfield campus. Possible careers include sous chef, caterer and pastry chef. The program has classes in nutrition, beverages and spa cuisines.

Health Claims Specialist

The health claims specialist program is offered on four campuses. Students in this program prepare for careers in hospitals, insurance companies and nursing homes. The program includes an externship opportunity letting students learn in real world conditions.

HVAC Training

The HVAC training program is available on the Bohemia and Springfield campuses. Students in this program pursue careers as heating and air condition repair technicians. Courses include ventilation and refrigeration.

Massage Therapy

The Branford massage therapy program has instruction in soft tissue manipulation and therapeutic massage techniques. Students also take business, human relations and communications classes. The program is available on four Branford campuses.

Medical Biller

After completing this program, students can work in hospitals, doctors' offices and extended care facilities. The medical biller program is offered at the Albany and Bohemia campuses. Courses instruct students in terminology and billing procedures.

Paralegal

The paralegal program is offered at three Branford campuses. Paralegals work in law firms and government agencies. Students in this program learn research techniques, terminology and legal arguments.

Professional Medical Assistant

The professional medical assistant program is offered at six of Branford's campuses. After completing their studies, students in this program work in clinics, hospitals and other health organizations. Classes teach medical technology, terminology and patient preparation.

Professional Fitness Trainer

The professional fitness trainer program is accredited by the American Council on Exercise and the National Academy of Sports Medicine. This program is offered at Branford campuses in Massachusetts and Connecticut. Students in this program work as certified fitness trainers in health clubs and gyms.
