Technical Programs
D'Mart prepares graduates for careers as refrigeration and air conditioning technicians, drafters and electricians. Those who complete the 14-month drafting program acquire computer-aided design (CAD) skills and find work in architectural firms, construction companies and government agencies. Refrigeration and air conditioning technicians complete a 12-month program that provides comprehensive training for residential and commercial work. The electrician program is a yearlong curriculum divided into six sessions of two months each in which participants learn how to fix appliances and install lighting.
Commercial Programs
The institute's current commercial program centers on office administration. It prepares graduates to work in offices as secretaries, data entry clerks and office managers. Subjects covered in the 12-month program include keyboarding, business Spanish and English, productivity software, shorthand, communication systems and basic accounting principles. Office administration courses are also taken in six sessions which last two months each. In addition to technical skills, students are trained in interpersonal communication skills to enhance their effectiveness in the workplace.

D'Mart offers five general and specialized programs in cosmetology, each a year long. The cosmetologist program teaches students skills in hair styling and coloring, cosmetics and nail care. The 'Super Master' program trains cosmetologists in advanced skills with more emphasis on the science of cosmetology and the latest techniques in hair styling and coloring. Classroom instruction and hands-on training are also provided in comprehensive makeup artist, nail technician and barber programs.
