About Golden Gate University

Established in 1901, Golden Gate University is a private, non-profit university that offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs in areas of business, management, law, taxation, and accounting. The programs are designed to help working adults achieve their education goals and are available both online and with flexible evening and/or weekend classes.

Program options range from undergraduate certificates in accounting or information technology to a Master of Business Administration and a Juris Doctor. The online programs include the same content as the on-campus courses and are taught by experienced faculty. GGU instructors have real world experience and knowledge, and many of them work in some of the Bay Area's largest and most successful organizations. Students are also assigned a dedicated student services advisor and have access to tutors and career services. Golden Gate University accepts credit from previous military and professional training as well as for college-level courses and examinations.

Getting my bachelor's at GGU meant I could continue to develop my career while learning from practicing professionals, which gave me the knowledge and confidence to start my own company. Today I like to recruit GGU graduates because they are used to being productive and ready for the workplace.
