Heald is the oldest business career college and has 11 campuses through California, Oregon and Hawaii. Heald's career services help students with resume writing, interviewing skills and salary negotiations. Job fairs are held on each campus and Heald College offers job placement for life, helping graduates of any year find a job.

Admissions and Enrollment Information

Heald College encourages perspective students to begin planning even before meeting with an advisor. Students contact an advisor and discuss their likes and dislikes. This helps an advisor to understand what program the student may be interested in and if Heald is the college for him or her. To begin the enrollment process, students must interview with an admissions advisor then submit an application with transcripts. After acceptance, students complete a placement assessment.

Heald College in Concord

Established in 1975, Heald College in Concord, CA, has facilities to provide hands-on experience, including a 1,800 square-foot dental lab, x-ray developing room and sterilization and materials labs. Programs that Heald Concord offers are pharmacy technology, construction management, criminal justice and network security.

Heald College in Fresno

The Fresno, CA, campus of Heald College offers many of the same programs as the other colleges, such as medical assisting, construction management, paralegal, sales and marketing and office skills. This 38,000 square-foot campus includes a library and computer lab that are open six days a week.

Heald College in Hayward

In 1967, Heald College opened its Hayward, CA, campus. Past graduates of the Hayward campus have gotten jobs with Bank of America, Aerotek, Milestone Technology and Washington Mutual. Medical insurance billing and coding, dental assisting and network security are a few of the associate programs offered at this Hayward campus. Fiber-optic data communications and online databases equip each classroom.

Heald College in Honolulu

The only Heald campus on Hawaii's islands, the Honolulu campus is over 56,000 square-feet. It has amenities like a technology support center, free e-mail and Internet, learning resource centers and electronic and medical labs. This campus offers technology programs that most other Hayward campuses do not. Electronics technology, web design and administration and Cisco and advanced Cisco systems top the list of technology programs.

Heald College in Portland

The Heald College campus in Portland, OR, sits on 2.3 acres. Previous graduates of the Portland campus have jobs with Ajilon, At Home Care, Iron Record Mountain Management and Okanogan Douglas Hospital. Established in 1996, the Portland campus is one of Heald's newest additions. A bookstore on campus, Internet access and a medical lab provide easy access for students. Some associate programs that the Portland campus offers are criminal justice, accounting, Microsoft Windows 2003 and pharmacy technology.

Heald College in Rancho Cordova

In 1912, the Rancho Cordova campus of Heald College opened. Since its opening, graduates have found jobs with Sacramento Family Medical Clinic, Blue Cross, Comcast and H&R Block. This 46,000 square-foot campus has free parking, a library, computer lab, free Internet access and access to public transportation. Students of the Rancho Cordova campus can major in medical office administration, network systems administration, business administration and criminal justice.

Heald College in Roseville

This 60,000 square-foot building is located in the heart of San Francisco and is surrounded by hundreds on Fortune 500 businesses.

Heald College San Jose

In 1907, Heald College opened its doors to the San Jose campus. Students of the San Jose campus have gone on to jobs with Chevron, Nortel Networks, Micron Technology, FaceBook and Digital Capture. Degree programs offered through this campus are office skills, accounting, electronics technology and medical assisting. On this 56,000 square-foot campus sits a library, computer lab with free Internet access, a bookstore, classrooms, medical and electronics labs and a student lounge with food service.

Heald College Stockton

Stockton's 34,000 square-foot facility in California has access to public transportation as well as parking. The Stockton campus of Heald College has programs geared towards the needs of businesses, including office skills, network systems administration, medical office administration, construction management and accounting. On campus, there is a 1,500 square-foot dental lab with a dark room for x-rays, sterilization labs and digital radiography equipment.
