In an attempt to deliver a green curriculum, New England Tech is providing renewable energy courses. It is also installing a wind turbine and photovoltaic array.

Admissions and Enrollment Information

Admission at the New England Tech is open to all students. Prospective students can choose to submit an online application or go to the admissions office. Upon acceptance, prospective students will meet with an admissions officer for an on-campus admissions interview. Areas of Study at New England Institute of Technology

Aviation

The New England Institute of Technology provides students an associate's degree program in flight training and aviation technology. This degree program earns students an Associate in Science in Aviation Science Technology. After graduation, students can take the Federal Aviation Administration certification exam.

Computers

At New England Tech, students can choose from four bachelor's and seven associate's degree programs in various fields of computer technology. Associate degree programs include business management technology, network engineering and computer servicing, IT and software engineering technology. Several of the associate degree programs are designed to lead into bachelor's degree programs in business management. On-line associate's degree programs are also offered for network engineering and computer servicing technology, and software engineering technology.

Communications

Communications degree programs offered at New England Tech include game development and simulation programming technology, multimedia and web design technology, video and audio production technology, and criminal justice technology. The game development and simulation programming technology degree programs can culminate in an associate's degree or a bachelor's degree. After the first half of the graphics, multimedia and web design technology program, students have the option to concentrate in graphic design.

Architecture and Design

Architecture and design students at New England Tech can study interior design and architectural building engineering technology. The degree programs lead to a associate's degree and a bachelor's degree. Additionally, students will find sustainable design and green technology included in the curriculum.

Electronics

The electronics program at New England Tech features an Associate of Science in Electronics Engineering Technology. Students within the program focus the first five quarters on the core skills; however, the last quarter offers the option for career training or continuing on to a bachelor's degree. Associate degree holders qualify for careers in research and development, product design, field service, marketing and product testing.

Mechanical Engineering Technology

New England Tech's students can earn an associate's degree or a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering technology. Students within the associate's degree program will concentrate on product design. Bachelor's degree students are required to complete a comprehensive final project, the Engineering Capstone Project.

Medical

The medical programs offered at New England Tech include clinical medical assistant technology, occupational therapy assistant technology, surgical technology and physical therapist assistant technology. Students within the medical degree programs are expected to complete off campus fieldwork. Physical therapist and occupational therapy assistant technology degree-holders meet the criteria for national certification examinations.

Transportation

New England Institute of Technology offers degree programs in marine technology and automotive technology. In conjunction with the automotive technology, students are offered an advanced high performance program that focuses on developing torque and horsepower. Bachelor's degree programs are offered in automotive service management technology.

Building Technologies

Associate degrees are offered for students studying electrical technology, building construction and cabinetmaking technology, refrigeration and air conditioning technology, plumbing technology and heating technology. The plumbing, heating and gas technology program integrates green technologies into the curriculum such as biofuel and solar technology. The building construction and cabinetmaking technology degree programs offer students a dual concentration program that merge the fundamentals of architectural engineering and building construction.
