The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey is home to a student population of over 7,000 full and part-time, graduate and undergraduate students. The college has been ranked 10th in U.S. News and World Report's Best American Colleges survey in the Best Universities/Master's in the North category.

The college campus is located in the Pinelands National Reserve on the Jersey Shore and includes a 400-acre ecological reserve, which houses the school's Marine Science and Environmental Field Station. The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey admits undergraduate, graduate, transfer and continuing education students. Classified as a highly selective school by The Princeton Review, the college accepts 47% of first-time freshmen applicants, for a class of nearly 900 students. Undergraduate applicants may submit the common application along with a supplemental form and are required to report SAT or ACT scores. School of Business

Established in 2007, the School of Business is comprised of the hospitality and tourism management studies, computer science and information systems and business studies departments. The School of Business grants Bachelor of Arts and Science degrees as well as offering a Master of Business Administration program. Students in this school have an opportunity to conduct research with faculty members, get involved with student organizations and make connections with regional New Jersey business communities.

School of Social & Behavioral Sciences

As the largest school in the college, the School of Social & Behavioral Sciences houses 26% of undergraduate students. The school offers bachelor's degrees in seven fields of study, including sociology and anthropology, economics, psychology and political science, and master's degrees in criminal justice and social work. The school manages four centers and programs, which provide students with internship and professional experience.

School of Arts & Humanities

The School of Arts & Humanities offers programs in philosophy and religion, languages and culture, performing arts, visual arts, communications and literature. The school is also home to the country's first master's in holocaust and genocide studies, which features internationally renowned faculty members. Facilities available to students in the school include a video-editing lab, performing arts center, music lab, art gallery, radio station and comprehensive visual art studios.

School of Education

The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey's School of Education offers teacher education programs that can lead to elementary teacher certification, secondary teacher certification in ten subjects and specialty certification. Additionally, Master of Arts degrees are available in education, special education and instructional technology. Students in the School of Education participate heavily in field experiences as assistants and students teachers in urban, rural and suburban schools.

School of Natural Sciences & Math

The School of Natural Sciences & Math offers primarily bachelor's degrees in 11 fields of study, including biochemistry and molecular biology, marine science, computational science and environmental studies. Pre-professional programs in pharmacy, dentistry, medicine and veterinary medicine are available to prepare students for graduate study. The school manages six research centers, including the Marine Science and Environmental Field Station, which engage students in environmental fieldwork.

The School of Health Sciences

Founded in 2008, the School of Health Sciences offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in speech and communication disorders, physical therapy, occupational therapy, public health and nursing. Master of Science in Nursing programs are offered with concentrations in clinical nurse specialist, nurse midwife, nurse administrator, nurse anesthetist and nurse practitioner specialties. All School of Health Sciences students participate in community and clinical fieldwork that prepares them for successful careers.

School of General Studies

The School of General Studies offers interdisciplinary, independent majors to undergraduate students as well as ten interdisciplinary minors, such as Latin American and Caribbean studies, holistic health and women's studies. The school is also responsible for designing the liberal arts core that is required to earn a bachelor's degree.

School of Graduate & Continuing Studies

In addition to administering graduate programs offered through the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, the School of Graduate and Continuing Studies offers continuing education certificate and non-credit courses. The school awards a number of graduate fellowships, scholarships and assistantships to qualified students.
