University of Oregon Academic Departments

School of Architecture and Allied Arts

This school offers a business degree program for planning, public policy and management as well as programs in creative fields such as architecture and art. College of Arts and Sciences

45 undergraduate majors and 39 doctoral programs are available at the College of Arts and Sciences. Students may choose programs from the humanities, natural sciences and social sciences. The college provides the liberal arts foundation for all enrollees of University of Oregon. Degrees awarded include B.A. in Linguistics, B.A. in Philosophy, B.S. in Economics, M.S. in Biology and Ph.D. in Mathematical Physics.

College of Education

The college offers bachelor's, master's and doctoral degree programs. Some areas of study include counseling psychology, special education, clinical sciences, educational methodology, school psychology, educational foundations and leadership. Programs are also available to prepare graduate students to apply for licensure in personnel services, teaching and administration in the state of Oregon.

Lundquist College of Business

Students may earn bachelor of science or bachelor of art degrees in Business Administration from the College of Business. Concentration areas include information systems and operations, entrepreneurship, marketing, sports business, accounting and finance. The college also offers an Oregon Executive MBA, Master of Accounting and Ph.D. in Business.

School of Law

The University of Oregon's School of Law offers degree programs culminating in a Juris Doctor or an Oregon LL.M in Environmental and Natural Resources Law. Students may also pursue a master's degree in conflict and dispute resolution. Practical experience is gained through the school's clinics for mediation, criminal defense, civil practice, domestic violence and prosecution.

School of Journalism and Communication

The communications school offers undergraduate programs culminating in a B.A. or B.S. in Journalism. School of Music and Dance
